UFO Hunters was and is my favorite show. Despite the fact that it was the the highest rated show across the board in its time slot,it was abruptly canceled with no explanation. How ever it has been concluded that Disney (who owns Discovery) did not like the horrific material covered in the episode (Underground Alien Bases). Apparently the sight of a half cow/half human baby corps coupled with allegations of military personnel working with aliens to commit crimes against nature was considered a possible political black eye for the fragile Disney corporation. Not enough to stop that episode from being aired in its entirety or form the rest of the season to be aired at the top of its time-slot for the rest of the season. They just simply did not order the forth season and let the show die. I for one would have rather have seen an edited version of that particular episode than have nothing at all.
What I don't understand most of all is why Discovery.com would still have seasons 1 and 2 for sale but (as of yet) refused to sell season 3 in the U.S.. I don't know for cretin but possibly the powers at play think that the U.K. is more accepting of con-traversal material such as this.
I for one think that the material is not so extreme that such extreme measures had to be executed or why other shows that deal with UFOs are still in high demand, yet the biggest, the best, and the first one to the party got kicked out.
I received my copy in "fair" condition, (It had a deep gouge in the front of the box) not too bad considering that it went on such a long trip. I can not get it to play in my PS3 "yet", but when I tried it in my LG blu-ray player it fired right up with no hesitation. Solid A for Amazon U.K.!
