So its season 7 of the ultimate fighter and time for the middleweights to have their day.
Two likeabTle coaches in forrest and rampage give it a happier type feeling than other seasons and it comes across as a bit gentler than other seasons (particularly season 8)
Sadly the quality of the fighters is a litle suspect (no offense) compared to the very high level house occupants of seasons 1,2,3,5 (and obviously 4) they are more mid tier fighters as opposed to the finest unsigned Mixed martial artists Notable exceptions being Jesse Taylor, Tim credeur and series bad guy CB Dolloway.
(SPOILER ALERTS)
The fights range from average to awful to excellent I reccomend skipping over the majority of prelims except for matt riddle vs dan simmler (which shows the most evil knockout ever on the show)
Aside from that Matt riddle vs tim creduer is the best fight on show closely contested by matt brown vs amir sadolloah also worth watchin is mike dolce vs jesse taylor and pat shultz vs cale yarborough (proof that the best fights aren't always between the best fighters).
Gerald Harris vs amir is also very watchable mainly for harris' unbelivable shows of strength and amirs devastating Ko.
the finale is a let- down to be blunt but gives a good chance to see riddle vs dante (a fight that strangely never happened on the show)
The winner Amir, is easily the most loveable winner In TUF history and it makes for feel good viewing.
jesse Taylor also has a fantastic showing but ruins it (and his career) at the end which is a shame as he is the other most likeable fighter on the show.
(spoiler Over)
Although it is a great series and very watchable the more hard core UFC fans and mma fans should be aware that this isnt world beating and you are unlikely to see any world champions out of this TUF house.
