I bought this game because it was very cheap in comparison to other PC games of its kind. I was very impressed considering the price of this game and the fact it was released in 1999. The first few missions are quite easy, the best part is trying out new plans. One thing I didnt like however was that once one of your team members is killed in a mission, they stay dead and you can't use them again. Definitely one of the best parts of the game is planning the mission, creating teams and equipping your team members. There is a selection of body suits, primary and secondary weapons and other things like grenades, primary and secondary magazines, flashbangs, door charges, heartbeat sensor and electronic/demolition/lockpick kits. You can have up to 8 members on your team but they must be separated into groups of 4 or less. You can plan the entire mission including where your teams go, whether they throw grenades, etc. But the best part of the game is getting out there and kicking some terrorist ass!!! Good graphics, interesting missions and challenging missions all make this a great game. Buy it.

When I first got Rainbow six I installed it on my computer and it installed it quick. When I got into the game it ran smoothly and quickly. The best part of the game is to plan missions, you can pick the soldiers you want from over 25 men and women. You can also pick their weapons and clothes and their entry points. You can go to the Taj Mahal,Big Ben and many other famous builings. Mostly you have to rescue hostages and kill terrorists

"Rainbow Six" Is an ace game, unfortunatly it just doesn't stand up to some of the competition in the genre. The ideas are good, I love the mission planning espcecially. The missions themselves are good but the aims are often repetitative although the places they are based are brilliantly varied. Overall I would buy it since it is so cheap!

"Rainbow Six" is a fun game, especially in multi-player-cooperative mode. The only problem is the relatively "dumb" AI, which makes some of the missions that much harder. All in all, I still consider it one of the best 1st-person-shooter-games available.
