2.0 out of 5 stars A Poor Effort by Ubisoft! 7 Oct 2012

There are 4 cases to complete in this game which will take you no more than 4-5 hours. The graphics are SHOCKING and the cut scenes are some of the worse I have ever seen in a game! Sure all the characters are in the game and yes you get to go to all the places like the lab and autopsy but it's all very boring and time consuming. You get the sense that this game was made on a very small budget (very small indeed). In fact the only good thing about this game is that 1000g can be obtained within a relative short period of time... all 26 can be unlocked by simply following the game as none are missable! The game operates on a click to move and select basis meaning you don't have to think hard to make it work!

PROS: This is effectively CSI in NCIS clothes which could be viewed as a plus or minus depending on your view, easy 1000g, all the character play a part.

CONS: EVERYTHING ELSE!

VERDICT: This game is very disappointing and i would honestly avoid it unless the price drops below £5 as that all it's worth, in fact i would recommend you rent it first and see what you think but in my book this has to go down as one of the worse games i have ever played!

3.0 out of 5 stars NCIS 24 Nov 2011

Being a fan of the show I was looking forwards to see how this game would compare.
They have done a good job of making episodes, that include the normal colour and character interaction you would expect from the tv show. The stories themselves also fit in well with the style of the TV show, and it is nice how they interlink them.
While they have not got the full cast for voices, they are not bad.

The main issues I have with the game are it is very short - they seem to have written each of the 4 'episodes' to actually take about an hour each to do, so you can finish the game start to finish, including collecting all 1000 points of achievements on the Xbox (the game is very linear you cannot miss any of them in a single playthough), in about 4 hours.
The mini games, while fun, are also extremely easy to do.

Overall the game is a lot of fun and fans of the series will appreciate the writing. Given how short it is though, and there is no re-playability, I would advise waiting until the price drops appropriately.

3.0 out of 5 stars Good but where's the rest? 15 Dec 2011

I really enjoyed this game but feel like it could of been better for a few reasons. Graphics were really not good. And where is the rest of the game. im not a brilliant gamer but completed this in less than 5 hours, as there was only for chapters.

Bought for my partner as she likes things like this, and she said it was a little confusing at points and the game itself is not very well designed, some of the graphics are really bad but it's okay overall.

1.0 out of 5 stars One star is generous 11 Nov 2013

Love the TV series. Hate this game

For a start, apart from David McCallum and Robert Wagner, all the characters are voiced by impersonators, and not very good ones that. Secondly there is very little humour that is a hallmark of the series.

Game play is all point, click or drag. No real action. No real involvement for the play.

Save your time and money and don't buy it.

3.0 out of 5 stars Quick & Easy Gamer Score 1 Mar 2013
Platform for Display:Xbox 360
Fun: 3.0 out of 5 stars
The CSI series of games on the Xbox 360 have long been seen as an easy way to boost your gamer score by 1000 points in a relatively quick and painless manner. This game follows in the same vein and appears in many respects to be a carbon copy of those games. The game can be finished within a weekend of determined play (less if you're familiar with the mechanics of the CSI series and know what is expected of you). Don't let that put you off though - the game is made up of 4 separate cases which you need to solve using a variety of tools and techniques. For each case you will visit a limited number of locations that you will examine for clues. You'll also need to interrogate several suspects and use the lab to process your evidence.

The cases are quite interesting, if a little contrived at times. The graphics are far from being the best that the Xbox can produce, but they work and don't detract too much from the overall feel of the game. The scope of the game is quite limited and the progression through each case is very linear, however the game is not an unpleasant way to while away a few hours. It is a thinking game rather than an action game, and the change of pace from my usual choice of games was very welcome.

Overall, not the best & most challenging game in the world, but a pleasant way to spend some time and to tax the brain a little. Not a game I'd recommend for those with a short attention span. The easy gamer points are a pleasant bonus though...
