5.0 out of 5 stars 7-12 year old will love this game, thrills, action, character., 18 Jun 2008
Fun:5.0 out of 5 stars
I can't believe this is only £19.99 as opposed to allot of new Wii games that retail at £39.99.

A real action packed kids game that blends colourful characters , sci-fi vehicles and crazy over the top gamplay. Smashing roadblock, jumping over fires, chasing bad guys.

Proclaiming to be an 'open world driving game' I was apprehensive at a colourful version of GTA, something I don't want my son playing. But Emergency Heroes isn't a GTA wannabe, its a genre of its own. A fun, driving action game that any child from 7 upwards could get the grips with and have allot of fun playing ( did I mention it was fun, ok so I've been playing it more than my son ).

You put out fires, rescue people, race muscle cars, play multiplayer all in and accessible , intuitive way using the Wii controller ( holding it like a steering wheel ).
The premise is similar to a kids Saturday morning cartoon in that characters draw you in, the world before you is instantly appealing and you want to keep coming back for more and more.

Highly recommended for a kids between 7-12 . 5 stars

5.0 out of 5 stars Worth every penny keeping the kids quiet, 4 Jul 2008

This is a fantastic bargain. at R.R.P of £19.99 everyone who has kids and a Wii should invest in this game. It is great fun and looks good. Ok so it is never gonna win any awards with the adults. It is very simple but if you buy a cartoony looking game called "Emergency heroes" and expect it to be a complex RPG that will require great gaming skill, then you deserve to be disappointed. If however, like me, you want a fun, easy, cheap game that will keep your children entertained.... then this is the game for you.

3.0 out of 5 stars Great Game but it crashed my wii, 1 Jul 2008

Fun:5.0 out of 5 stars
Hello,

After watching the advert for this game on tv I ordered it along with the nintendo steering wheel.
The game is well put together graphically and the handling is great!

However, after forty five minutes of play the screen twitched and the repetitive sound of a system crash came through the speakers.

I had to unplug the wii and then load the game again to recover, the game picked up from where it had crashed and I could continue play.

The kids really enjoy playing the game.
