This item looks very swish and windows vista installed it without the need for a driver disk. If you are not confident in the auto hibernate function to save batteries, it has an off switch underneath. If you want to take it on your travels for your laptop, it has a slot underneath for the USB receiver to be stored while not in use. The cursor travel speed is a little slow but that can be adjusted in the control panel mouse section. I am a gamer so set it to maximum. It also has two extra side buttons that can be assigned to other uses during game play. For the price I paid you can not go wrong. Because it was in bubble wrap and not in a box the postman could fit it through the letterbox.

I selected this mouse after reading all the reviews and found it to be first class, well made and a joy to use with my laptop. I rate it 100% and recommend it to anyone looking for a top of the range mouse. gingertop

For the price I paid - £4.99 including delivery! - it is perfect. Diminutive in size, clean simple ergonomic design, nice smooth tracking and of course has the added benefit of being wireless. Setting it up couldn't be easier too; just plug in the minuscule USB transmitter and fit a single AA battery and you're away. Couldn't be easier.

I was so impressed with my first (different) wireless mouse that I bought this cheaper one to use on my spare machine.
It's easy to setup - no setup needed - and I like the on/off switch, although I'm still puzzled by the two side buttons. What do they do?
Two contras though.
1. The shape is definitely meant for a right-hander, which I'm not, so I have to be careful not to accidentally keep the left button depressed with the adjacent finger.
2. I had wrongly assumed that it would work as my first one does, without a mousemat. But a mat is definitely required here.
As to build quality - I wasn't expecting anything exotic, ivory, silver, cast-iron, whatever. It's plastic! (aren't they all?) and it looks good, just as I expected.
I have no intention of banging nails in with it.
All in all, good value for money if you're right-handed, so I would recommend it.

An excellent product. So much easier to use than a mouse directly connected to the computer by cable. Was concerned it might use up batteries too quickly, even though I have plenty of rechargable ones. I needn't have worried as it switches itself off after a reasonable time of nonuse. It immediately switches back on as soon as you 'click'. The connection to the 'tower' is very small and fits unobtrusively into a USB port. Highly recommended! Ian C

I am very happy with this mouse, and just for a change, when it says easy to install it means exactly that. Which as I am a bit slow with setting up new technology, is a very refreshing change. Its also strong and durable, as I dropped it, it came apart, and just clicked back together. Excellent product!!!!

Had this mouse a couple of weeks and I'm very pleased so far. Nothing flashy but feels robust and it's lightweight with only one AA battery needed. A real bargain as it performs better than my previous wireless mouse which was twice the price and failed after a year.

Despite other strong reviews, i wasnt expecting much from this mouse but it turns out it's actually really good!

-Doesnt destroy batteries thanks to the auto off feature (although i sometimes forget about it and think its not working) - if you dont trust the auto off, then you can switch it off manually.
-Nice ergonomic design
-Very cheap
