We find ourselves in the year 1930. Mysteriously-financed expeditions are setting out from locations all over the world to ‘open up’ hitherto unexplored regions of the world to the so-called civilised world. Fame and fortune is foremost in the minds of the expedition crews - the fortune through merciless exploitation of any resources that they’re hoping to find, closely followed by the (doubtful) chance of gaining scientific fame. A huge storm has driven the expedition of the Hon. Prof. Dr. Flemming far off course - to a chain of islands off the Sumatran coast. The members of the research team are really grateful that they’ve escaped death in the storm-tossed ocean - but they’re also sooo happy to be the first humans to set foot on this island jungle paradise...Hold it! Did we say paradise? Wrong! Something very old and very evil has this island under its awful spell. Pandora’s box will be opened - and wailing and lamentation as from a thousand tortured souls will flow insidiously around the world. But it’s too late now for prayers. Humanity is slowly being pulled towards the cradle of horror. Humans mutate into ancient evil beings and a massive bloodlust arises within the human civilisation. John Perkins stands alone against overwhelming foes in a futile-seeming battle.
