Create your own music mix and compositions with instruments, backbeats and riffs. Burn an MP3 and send a copy to your friends and family. You can also download new content from the Internet for free, so there are always new sounds and music to make.

U-Create Music is a unique, digital music-making system that allows you to express yourself through creating and remixing original songs through an easy, fun and innovative device. It's easy to use, right out of the box, easy to mix and match sample loops, easy to share with friends and easy to update and explore new content.

U-Create allows you to play back and loop recordings and then build up loops to create a song. The huge library of sounds consists of 8 sound effects/filters, 3 backbeats (5 seconds each), 3 riffs (5 seconds each), 3 licks (5 seconds each), 3 runs (5 seconds each), 2 voice files (5 seconds each). Record a voice or any audio sound with the built-in mic or import from any audio source using the mic-in jack. U-Create has a total of 85 seconds memory for recording loop and voice files. Then you can use the Distortion Rocker to distort the sound. When you've finished writing your song you can save it to your computer.

Hook U-Create up to external speakers to play your music to other people. Download new music packs (including country, rock, pop and techno) for free. U-Create features a touch panel interface, USB cable, internal microphone, internal speaker, USB mini jack, stereo out socket (for connecting speakers or headphones--sold separately), line in socket (for connecting MP3 player--sold separately) and mic in socket (for connecting an external microphone--sold separately). Needs 4x AA batteries (not included).

I bought this for my Seven year old and it has been the most played with toy since Christmas, all the family have enjoyed recording our voices and mixing them into really funny tunes. Very easy to use and execllent value. Takes four AA's but batteries appear to last a reasonable amount of time.

Bought this for my son's 9th birthday and it is brilliant. Really easy to just pick up and start creating music. There are free online downloads too to keep things fresh and it is really easy to connect the machine to the PC to upload your tunes for sharing. I thought it might be a bit tinny and get annoying but the music that can be created is pretty sophisticated for a twenty something quid toy and the sound quality is great. Highly recommend for any child.
