Book Description

From the myths of romance to the tales of the hero's journey, the quest for knowledge and being has always been portrayed in terms of struggle. Far from home, the hero faces obstacles and tests of his or her courage, will and cunning.

But how do the labyrinths and monsters of those 'messages in a bottle' from our remote ancestors relate to our lives in the 21st century? In an age of mass media, the worldwide web and multinational corporations, how do these archetypal dramas play themselves out?

In these two volumes (5 & 6) of her revolutionary series, The Wave or Adventures with Cassiopaea, Laura Knight-Jadczyk continues her project of laying bare the nature of our reality. Through her own experiences and interactions over the course of the Cassiopaean Experiment, many of which just go to show that truth is stranger than fiction, Laura describes the real-life dynamics only hinted at in myth.

Most importantly, she gives the tools and clues necessary to actually read the symbols of reality: the theological substrate in which our ordinary psychological motivations are embedded. With these stunning revelations, Shakespeare's famous words take on a whole new meaning: "All the world's a stage, and all men and women merely players.

First published on her groundbreaking website, Petty Tyrants & Facing the Unknown have now been fully revised and packaged together in one attractive volume. For anyone interested in the world of esoteric knowledge, studies in the paranormal and everything 'alternative', or just curious about life in general and its possible significance and meaning, these volumes are a must read.

This, the 5th and 6th book in The Wave series, is as full of revelation as the previous books. The author goes further into the truth of our existence than any other researcher I have studied - and I have studied hundreds. Laura knight-jadczyk's work should be read by anyone who seeks the meaning behind their life, and where it is all heading. Read her books and your eyes will be opened.

5.0 out of 5 stars Making sense out of life... 22 Jan. 2013

I stumbled on Ms. Knight-Jadczyk books by accident, the knowledge and wisdom she imparts in her works is amazing and her ability to communicate her ideas and subject matter, in a most concise manner, is uplifting, giving the reader many aaha moments. I have read now, every book she has written, that is, that has been published on Kindle, and wait anxiously for the rest of the Wave Adventures to appear. I would like to thank Ms. Knight-Jadczyk for researching, asking thoughtful and hard questions, and then imparting her insights to humanity. Also, thanks for making somewhat seemingly complex concepts less confusing.

5.0 out of 5 stars Amazing book!!!! 29 Dec. 2012

This book blew me away as have all of Laura Knight Jadczyk's books and other materials. This one especially hit home for me because I have been dealing with my own personal petty tyrant all my life and this book really lays out what to do about it. In the book Laura goes through the very personal events in her life and how she worked through them to become the inspirational person she is today. The Facing the Unknown part is just as amazing as she connects the dots on so many interesting and important topics in a way that makes sense of all the confusing and conflicting events going on on the world stage. If you really want to understand what is going on in the world today and why Laura's work is the place to go to find out. All of her books are very highly recommended.

5.0 out of 5 stars Very Interesting 13 Dec. 2012
By M. Longaz - Published on
I really enjoy this author's books and especially The Wave Series of which this book is a part. The Wave books tell the story of part personal journey and discovery, deep research and thought, and explanation and addition to channeled material from the Cassiopeans. I find writing a review of The Wave books doesn't do them justice since each book covers such a wide range of topics. In this particular book the concepts of Facing the Unknown and Petty Tyrants as first written about by Carlos Castaneda provide a central concept from which many other topics are addressed.
