Stenciling 17 Aug 2007
I purchased the cream tea, coffee, and sugar canisters and after only a couple of months, the lettering on all three has started to come off.
I have repeatedly emailed Typhoon Heritage about this, but they have not bothered to reply.
There is absolutely no way these items should be sold when the lettering is not steadfast. They have to be washed and handled - they're not just for decoration!!

unimpressed 3 Oct 2011
I purchased this storage set on the strength of the reviews.I must say some people are easily pleased they look cheap and tinny
they could have at least put the lettering on straight and being transfer printed they will wear badly. They look like painted tin
cans! I cant believe some of these reviews were describing this product. I should have gone for ceramic jars. Not recommended.

Not keen!
I wasn't too keen on the colour of these when they arrived and didn't think they were a very nice shade of cream. Also, the sugar caddy had a dent in it. Read more

Typhoon Tea Coffee And Sugar Set Cream
After 12 months of use still look the part.
You need to take care, the enamel could chip.
However, with care should last years.
Ours are still like new.

Typhoon Has Me In A Whirlwind!
Typhoon know their stuff and make gorgeous kitchenware, although some are better than others. These are heavy and tough and I reckon they will last for years. Read more

I read the other review and wanted to say, I've had the set in red for around a year. They are well used and the lettering is still intact. Read more
