Excellent Retro Product!,

We bought this to fit in with other "yellow" kitchen appliances for our new kitchen. It looks really good, retro and holds the kitchen roll in place.
The only slight downside is that it is quite tall, and therefore it needs a larger than normal kitchen roll. Minor, but irritating. Overall its really good.

The finish of this item is very good and the colour is a pleasant deep vanilla cream colour.
It is stable in use and try as I might, I cannot tip it over by pulling on the roll of kitchen towel. The only flaw is with the top that you pull off to install the roll beneath the retaining arm. The top simply pushes back on and the self adjusting arm rest down the side of the roll. The problem being that the top spins round too easily, resulting in a spinning top, rather than the arm staying put and allowing a single sheet tear off. I have easily solved the problem, by winding a little electrical tape around the spindle that the top snaps on to, which stops the top from spinning so freely. Not a big task to achieve, but irritating that it be necessary in an item of this cost. All in all: Looks great and following slight adaption works well!
