WHAT A SPLENDIDLY DELIGHTFUL LOOK THIS TIMER HAS UNTILL YOU GET UP CLOSE THAT IS. IF YOU'RE INTO PLASTIC TRYING TO LOOK LIKE CHROME, BUY IT, IF YOU WANT SOMETHING THAT WORKS, DON'T. IT'S A SHAME IT DOES NOT WORK PROPERLY, INNACURATE TIMING AND WITH A BUZZER THAT NEEDS TO BE AMPLIFIED TO HEAR IT, THIS PRODUCT FROM A NORMALLY GOOD BRAND IS NOT WORTH THE PACKAGING IT COMES IN. I SENT THE FIRST ONE BACK AND THE SECOND IS EXCACTLY THE SAME. SUCH A PITY.

Typhoon Retro Buick Red Timer
This item looks fab in the picture, then it arrived. In reality it looks and feels very cheap and is not very substantial. A cheap copy of a wonderful original. The first one that I received did not ring at all at the end and did not keep it's time. The second one just didn't do much except look cheap. The only positive experience from both examples was that Amazon's returns service was 100% spot on!

The styling is very good. However it is a very lightweight plastic. It has to be very carefully set so as not to miss the mark. Durability is open to question.
However worst of all the timer bell is both quite quiet and very brief in duration. It is infact the quietest and quickest timer alarm that I have ever owned. So perhaps good if you don't leave the room or don't like loud noises?
It's a shame that it isn't more hard wearing because the design is really very pretty.

Looks good and by golly it does you good.
It is good looking and not being technical I am able to manually wind this and not burn my dishes.Stands out in the kitchen and reminds you to use it.
