This wok was a delight to use.Not only was it very aesthetically pleasing,it was extremely tactile,and made me look forward to cooking rather than dreading it.Firstly the non stick coating was evenly distributed,aiding the heat dispersal rather than all those nasty hot spots which are normally associated with wok cooking.This ensured a nice even cook,something rarely achieved with all but the most seasoned woks.The kit that comes with the wok maens all the utensils you need are to hand,and the steamer is ideal because it actualy fits the wok,and because it fits in the bottom instead of on the side there is no chance of it slipping.All in all in my oppinion a really good dael.

I'm very keen on chinese cooking, so I was really looking forward to getting a new wok. Unfortunately, this didn't match my expectations, having done quite a bit of research. The first thing you notice is the sheer weight of the thing. I'm in no way weak, but there is no way I could pick up the pan and toss any food I cooked in it. Be sure that you really need a 14inch wok before you try this! Second, what I actually received was NOT what was described. There were no cooking chopsticks and no steaming rack. Third, although I didn't actually cook with the thing (I'm sending it back), I'm not convinced the surface would be 100% non-stick - it would still need good seasoning - and I'm sure it wouldn't stand up to the metal utensils provided. It's a shame, but I was expecting more from this product. I'm off to buy a new one from a shop...
