Basically this is a big paella dish, that also happens to be non stick. It's a good price, which is a bought it, and it's big enough to cook for 8-10 people.

Don't buy this if you want to do paella for 2 people as it is far too big really.

If you want a pan that is large enough for a family or a dinner party, then this is a really useful addition to the kitchen.

this item was bought as a gift for my daughter which she seemed pleased with until she used it. the first time, following all instructions the non stick coating peeled off the exterior and interior surfaces. the food had to be thrown away. excellent response from amazon who refunded my money. it might have been good to know why it happened as it might possibly have been a faulty one unless it has happened to anyone else.

The picture shown is not that one shipped. Picture shows wooden? handle but shipped one does not have one. Handle's made of steel and hard to hanlde due to size and heat.
