Having bought several Typhoon products, and all being of good quality and value, I am somewhat shocked at this. The pan itself is well built, the handles are sturdy, BUT you have to self assemble, and more importantly the non-stick coating actually comes off very easily. I spent 40 minutes making sure the caoting was clean andfree from residue before cooking...then noticed that the underneath was coming off when the wok came into contact with the cooking hob. Not good. Oh well, I should have gone for the carbon steel and seasoned the wok the old fashioned way.
