Typequick for Students is aimed at children. It features a cartoon character called 'Kewala' and it follows his 'Amazing Keyboard Adventure' as he travels around Australia meeting lots of cool and interesting characters. Features include:-
?Typequick for Students' signature course "Finding the keys", is a structured course of 10 lessons, hidden in 10 routes, which follow a logical teaching order. You are guided from lesson to lesson, so the Typequick 'teacher' always knows where you are and what you need in the next lesson.
?Once you can type without looking at the keyboard, you are ready for the 'BIG CHALLENGE'. Once you successfully complete all the challenges, you will reach the 'Kingdom of Eaz' where everybody can type with all fingers.
?The course includes meaningful text - exercises are modeled on English sentences and not on nonsense words. Stories and characters are built through the typing exercises.
?Additional courses include lessons to teach the most commonly used punctuation keys and the number pad.
?Exciting practice courses are included covering subjects such as Australian Animals, Planets, Senses and Metals.
?Clear reports are displayed at the end of every lesson part. Users can view progress at any time during the course
?There is a new mouse course, to teach young beginners how to control the computer's mouse.
The USB Memory Stick is preloaded with the full Typequick program and can be used on any computer with a USB port for real 'plug-in and play portability'.
No files are installed on the computer's hard drive and all student progress data is stored on the memory stick after each session.
It is simple and easy to use.
You can practice any time and anywhere.
The 1 Gb stick also features surplus storage capacity for easy storage of other files.
The course comes in a student folder that contains advice and tips, and includes learning aids and a neck strap for the memory stick.
