Product Description

Product Description

Glen and Tyler are young, in love, and the wealthiest human beings on the planet.  But when Glen's brother calls from a jail in Paris, you guessed it, they're off to France to tangle with spies, neo-Nazis, evil world-spanning conspiracies and French gangsters. Plus they have a romantic dinner, and find long-lost treasure. Really, it’s a fun-filled non-stop romp.

In this third installment of the Glen & Tyler series, we meet up with our heroes a couple of years after their Scottish Troubles, a little more world-weary, a little wiser and no less sarcastic.

4.0 out of 5 stars FUN PIECE OF FLUFF 27 Nov 2013
Format:Kindle Edition|Verified Purchase
The book is a fast paced ride and very entertaining, but suspend all sense of logic or common sense. I would give it 3.5 actually. The suspension of disbelief was carried way beyond books 1 and 2, and actually got irritating at times. But good fun, and the humour is actually funny, comparing favourably to many other books which are being touted as "hilarious".

4.0 out of 5 stars Glen & Tyler's Paris Double-cross (Glen & Tyler Adventures) by JB Sanders 8 May 2013
By Elisa - Published on Amazon.com
Format:Kindle Edition
I followed this couple of billionaires around the world for the last three books, so my judgment is probably biased, but I really feel like they are old friends and I know all their antics and like with friends, you accept them and smile with indulgence.

Glen & Tyler are very young and very wealthy, a wealth that is impossible to imagine. They are married and in love and doesn't care if that is not legal in some of the countries they are visiting, where it counts they have the backup of their wedding contract and where it doesn't count, they have Tyler's millions to let them be not only accepted, but also welcomed, everywhere. They are using the world as their personal playfield, the political contacts as aces in the sleeves, and the money as tokens. If they see something wrong, they simply make a call and have it righted. Is it real? Is it possible? Maybe not, but that is not the reason why you are reading Glen & Tyler Adventures, you want the dream of impossible, you want the little satisfaction Tyler is feeling when he can say, Glen, my husband, and have him threated better than a king.

While quite clever and cultured, both Glen than Tyler are basically young men with still the wish to enjoy life without much commitment, aside from the commitment they took with each other. As such, in more than one occasion, the author highlighted how they still enjoy to admire the players in the field, both men and women, but in the end, they are exclusive with each other and the game remain on a watch don't touch level. Glen and Tyler decided to be together because they were in love, not since they didn't have any other option, in a way the body would be willing to try, but their heart is binding them to their marriage votes.

I have to warn the possible reader, to fully appreciated this series, you have to start from book 1.

5.0 out of 5 stars One of my favorite series 23 May 2014
By J. L. Morgen - Published on Amazon.com
Format:Kindle Edition
I absolutely love this series. It's one I recommend to everyone- even folks who don't typically read m/m books. It's funny, clever, fast paced and fun.

When I taught summer school to reluctant readers last year, at the end of the day I'd sit the kids down and they'd tell me what they wanted to have happen to them when they were grown up. They'd describe their future dream cars, video game consoles, elaborate houses, and pantries full of junk food. I'd then go home and write a quick wish-fulfillment story for them where they were the characters and they interacted with each other and all of their stuff. They loved reading these stories- and I know why. It's the same reason I love Glen and Tyler.

Glen and Tyler get to be brilliant, strong, lovely, in love, ridiculously wealthy, and to overcome villainy at every turn. They have fabulous friends and throw money around like water to have fun but also to do good. Talk about wish-fulfillment.

The same things that delighted my summer students in reading about their wildest, silliest, most unrealistic dreams coming true delight me as I read about Glen and Tylers many adventures. I hope JB Sanders keeps writing these books for years to come because I reread them and listen to them every time I need a lift. I'm just delighted that this one is finally out in audio-book format. I'm heading over to audible to buy it now.

By the way, as another reviewer said, if you're new to these books, start with the first one- Glen and Tyler's Honeymoon Adventures- and read them in order. And lucky you- you have a treat ahead of you!

4.0 out of 5 stars My favorite so far! 3 May 2014

In this third installment of Glen & Tyler, the boys head to Paris when Glen receive a call from his brother, Lance, that he’s been arrested. Lance being framed for art theft is just the tip of the iceberg when Glen and Tyler are once again thrust into conspiracies and plots of their demise. Fortunately for them, Tyler has just the plan to beat their new enemies. With neo-nazies and French gangsters nipping at their heels, can Glen and Tyler still manage to enjoy a little romance in the City of Love?

This addition to the Glen and Tyler adventures is by far my favorite. Glen is still his amazingly hot self (redheads, how can you NOT love them?!) and Tyler is still out to impress Glen in anyway he can. At this point, they’ve been married for a few years now but still seem to hold their ‘just married’ bliss because at the heart of their relationship is a true friendship. I love that about them and the fact that they can banter at the most inconvenient of times. However, for them, it’s a way to relieve stressful situations. Still, as a couple they fit well because they know just what they should do when the other is reaching their breaking point. I love these boys but I also liked that this book showed more of an attempt at romance. In previous books, I felt the connection between them but didn’t see it as much as I would have liked (beyond their flirting but they flirt with everyone) so it was nice to see Tyler actually making an effort to woo Glen in Paris. They’re so sweet together but also very funny so it was great to see little pockets of them enjoying their time together in Paris.

My biggest problem in previous books was that the stories were always chaotic and all over the place. Thankfully, this book felt more organized and on track of what problem they’re forced into. There were a few parts that still confused me but they weren’t as numerous as in the first two books. Beyond that, my only big issue was that I felt uncomfortable with the ‘seduction’ in this book. I’m well aware that Tyler and Glen are bi-sexual and I’ve accepted that because they’re very much in love… but, in this book, I was uncomfortably aware of the fact that it is very possible for them to cheat because of how close Tyler actually came to doing so. I loved that there was more romance in this one but there also felt like more attention towards identifying gorgeous and attractive men and women. This is just a personal preference but even when characters are so in love, I don’t want to be told whenever a beautiful man or woman walks by and because of Tyler letting himself get dangerously close to being seduced, I now can’t get out of my head that if Tyler can get ‘almost’ seduced now, what’s to stop him from actually being seduced later when Glen isn’t around? After all, if Tyler hadn’t have seen Glen right when he did, he would have gone all for the lovely flesh that was so tempting without any hesitation.

In the end, though, I still love Tyler and Glen. This novel was still the fun, fast-paced story of how the two of them best their enemies and it was much easier to follow along. I’m looking forward to reading more of them in future stories, although I really do hope their attentiveness towards others’ attractiveness lessens because I’d rather not be reminded of that… but as I said, that’s just a personal preference ;)

5.0 out of 5 stars this continues Tyler and Glen's adventures 21 April 2014

I came to these books thinking they were mysteries and discovered instead touching, funny adventures that really draw you in. They are what if books - what if you're a good person, persons and want to do good in the world......and you have enough money to do 'anything'....what might you do especially if there are 'others' who would like you out of the way...... These books are a good romp. Enjoy!
