Product Description

Charlie Sheen and Jon Cryer star in the Emmy® Award-nominated Two and a Half Men, a comedy about men, women, sex, dating, divorce, mothers, single parenthood, sibling relations, surrogate families, money and, most importantly, love. More specifically, it's about the lives of two brothers, a son/nephew and the many women who surround them all. Charlie Harper is a well-to-do bachelor with a house at the beach, a Mercedes in the garage and an easy way with women. His casual Malibu lifestyle is interrupted when his tightly wound brother, Alan, and Alan's son, Jake, come to stay with him. Despite the complexities of their lives and their own strained relationship, Charlie and Alan have one thing in common: They both love Jake and want what's best for him. As a result, they manage to create a little family unit that promises to make each one of them a better man.

Synopsis

This season, Charlie has a thorny problem: Rose. Before, she was on the make for Charlie. Now she's married and supposedly off-limits – and that's irresistible for lust-struck Charlie. He pursues her. That and other situations are all part of the hilarious antics of Charlie, his sad-sack bro Alan and his underachieving nephew Jake as they return to make Two and a Half Men #1 among TV comedies. Don't miss Charlie keeping his mojo in motion with Michelle (elegant, older), Courtney (cheap, sexy) and, of course, Rose (crazy, crazy). Alan burning down his girlfriend's house and hatching a chiropractic Ponzi scheme. And Jake risking his body and (few) brain cells to film a Jackass ripoff. Bad boys. Funny Men.

I am fan ever since this series started and I lived in the US. This is not one of the best seasons, you can see the decay of Charlie Harper. I missed Jake in the last series and found Berta to be too dominant. But still brilliant series. I enjoyed every minute. I am really sad that Sheen left the show. what I have seen of Kutcher is not even close to what Charlie Harper ever achieved. Charlie Harper R.I.P. but still hope he will wake up from a bad dream in a few episodes from now and get rid of that kid Kutcher

You can easily tell that Charlie Sheen was having problems during the filming of this series particularly in the early stages where he looks awful and I'm surprised they even started filming with him looking like he does.
I still enjoy the series on the whole nevertheless despite Alan getting almost annoying with how cheap he becomes, earlier in the show it was funny but it becomes a little bit of a drag at times.
There is still plenty to enjoy in this series and the majority of the episodes are worthy additions to the series, just a shame they didn't know how it it would all end with Sheen and have a proper end for Charlie instead of the pathetic 'he fell under a train' death they use in the next series.
Given 4 stars because I like it but cannot love it like some of the earlier series.

So, this is the season where Charlie Sheen/Harper was last seen. The season is shorter than the others (16 episodes I think) and you can see that Charlie is on a downwards spiral and it's quite sad to watch. Everything seems a bit predictable and you find yourself just waiting for the end. Funny in places, but a definite backward step for the series.

or Last of the 'Real' Two and a Half Men series - ends a bit suddenly, as anyone with an eye on the media will know.
Just as good as every other series right up until the slightly rushed final episodes, when the producers and writers obviously knew Sheen was going into meltdown and need an 'out' just in case...

Good season. Shame it was cut short. Good laughs. Only 16 episodes. Still some good plots and jokes. Typical 2 and a half men stuff

Always loved Charlie Sheen, but drink/drugs, or whatever he's still into, have taken their toll on him. Still a good actor but I completely understand him having to go. Series 8 is farewell to him and even his funeral is funny, so no tissues required. Still a good Series, so I don't understand the negative comments.....

seems like they have run out of story lines. enjoyed it more when Charlie was flitting from woman to woman.

This was Charlie sheens last season playing the happy go lucky bachelor and he certainly went out in style. It's a shame that we was fired from this hit show hitch has forced the show to go completely down hill with the laughs being less frequent and often slapstick or just silly. With the writers watering it down and trying to make it for a larger audience. But that doesn't mean we can't get a nostalgic feeling whilst watching the first 8 seasons of what was once a brilliant show.
