Two Broke Girls is a comedy series about (surprise!) two broke girls who work in a diner. Max (Kat Dennings) has been broke all her life but for Caroline (Beth Behrs) - former rich kid - it's a whole new experience. The series follows their growing friendship and attempts to start a cupcake business.
The character gallery is one of a kind. Max is a real badass who says whatever she wants (and most of the time what she wants to say isn't that kind or polite) and good-hearted Caroline is a fish out of water without a personal butler and money to spend. There's also a bunch of supporting characters who offer good laughs. For some weird reason I really like Oleg - the diner chef who is a sexual harassment suit waiting to happen.
The series starts out very strong and during the first season there are some really, really funny episodes but also some not-so-funny episodes. If you like girl power and don't mind vulgar jokes, then this is a show for you!

Started watching this from the first episode. The first few were very funny but as the episodes have gone on it has fallen down. However the last two were great so I guess there are going to be some ups and downs like all shows. I think it's worth giving it a chance and see how it goes. The studio must have faith in it as they have signed up for season 2. I will be buying this when it comes out and much better without the ads.

This is certainly not the best sitcom out there, but I like the premise of the series and the two girls really do have chemistry.
At first I didn't like because yes, there are a lot of stereotypes and clichés (the black guy, the teeny tiny Asian guy with the funny accent, the Polish superwoman etc.), but it's still fun to watch and takes your mind off things.
After watching six episodes on a long flight, I've rather taken a shine to Caroline and Max and will definitely watch the second series.
There are worse ways to spend your money (e.g. season 9 of Two And A Half Men).

Bought as a gift
Have watched this series with my partner and we loved it so I bought him a copy for Christmas. It arrived on time and I'm sure it will play in the machine, so all good.

Love this show
Funny and entertaining! Lots of jokes & is a great show, i love it! Characters and great and very likable. Arrived quickly and will definitely be buying the second season & third.
