Product Description

The complete sixth season of the popular American sitcom. Charlie (Charlie Sheen) is a well-to-do bachelor with a house at the beach, a Jaguar in the garage and an easy way with women. His casual Malibu lifestyle is interrupted when his tightly wound brother, Alan (Jon Cryer), who's facing a divorce, and Alan's son, Jake (Angus T. Jones), come to stay with him. Together, these two and a half men confront the challenges of growing up - finally. This season sees Charlie's wild ways tamed by Chelsea (Jennifer Bini Taylor), while Jake kisses the girl next door, Judith (Marin Hinkle) prepares for having a baby, and Alan starts seeing his receptionist. The episodes comprise: 'Taterhead Is Our Love Child', 'Pie Hole, Herb', 'Damn You, Eggs Benedict', 'The Flavin and the Mavin', 'A Jock Strap in Hell', 'It's Always Nazi Week', 'Best H.O. Money Can Buy', 'Pinocchio's Mouth', 'The Mooch at the Boo', 'He Smelled the Ham, He Got Excited', 'The Devil's Lube', 'Thank God for Scoliosis', 'I Think You Offended Don', 'David Copperfield Slipped Me a Roofie', 'I'd Like to Start With the Cat', 'She'll Still Be Dead at Halftime', 'The 'Ocu' Or the 'Pado'?', 'My Son's Enormous Head', 'The Two Finger Rule', 'Hello, I'm Alan Cousteau', 'Above Exalted Cyclops', 'Sir Lancelot's Litter Box', 'Good Morning, Mrs. Butterworth' and 'Baseball Was Better With Steroids'.

Synopsis

In Season 6, a smart, independent brunette named Chelsea may finally have turned party-boy Charlie into a man. The kind of man who brings you tea when you're sick. Sleeps over at your place, even if he can't watch ESPN in bed. Or makes the ultimate sacrifice: nukes the nudie pix off his cell phone. And there's lots more funny that keeps Two and a Half Men the #1 comedy on TV: Jake locks lips with the cute girl next door, the one whose football-star dad is named Mad Dog. Judith prepares for a midlife baby, who may end up looking a lot like Alan. And Alan dates his receptionist, then ends up in bed with her frisky mom. Life's a beach in Season 6!

Two and a Half Men is a funny look a bachelor life - with Charlie (Charlie Sheen), a gambling, womanising jingle creator, who happens to be a children's songwriter; and Alan (Jon Cryer) a geeky chiropractor, who's been booted out of his home by his ex-wife Judith. He has a son - Jake - who's really stupid - and Charlie has his portly cleaner Berta who is really funny. They all live in Malibu - in a beach house.

Previous seasons have seen Charlie jumping from bed to bed, and Alan desperately trying to find a replacement for Judith, but this one is more settled, Charlie is more committed to his new fiancée and Alan is just still very desperate. Jake is still stupid, but this is very comical and makes the show enjoyable.

Some of the best episodes include the one where Charlie goes to see his therapist, as she's very funny and has a very dry wit. I also liked the one where Alan goes out with Rose and Chelsea goes mad when Charlie can't sleep in her house.

This has really got back on track, at one point it was so silly, with Candi, and Alan winning at Las Vegas, but now the stories are more believable and funny for it too. The characters are still rather unlikeable, Charlie is still very juvenile, but he's still my favourite of the TAAHM; Alan can be frustrating and you can see why Charlie picked on him as a kid, and Jake does have some great lines in this series, and seems to be just as funny as when he was a young boy starting his career in this show. I do feel though there was scarcely enough of Holland Taylor, who's another one who's got dry wit, and it would have been great if Rose had shown up more often in the show, but her stalking is funny - though disturbing.

There are plenty of cameos too, James Earl Jones being the best one.

I have only watched a few episodes but this is the best season because season 4 was when it went down hill for me although it did have its moments personally I prefer the later ones. The funniest one I have seen is the one where a footballer comes into it and jake fancies his daughter. if you are hesitating to buy this do It

I eagerly anticipated for season six o two and a half men to be released and I must say I was not disappointed.

Season 6 delivers 24 fun packed episodes that are guaranteed to offer several good laughs.
This season sees Charlie fall in love and experience all the "problems" that come with a committed relationship.
It sees Alan take up new and old hobbies including ventriloquy and model car painting.
It also continues the transition of Jake from the likable goofy boy to a still likeable and goofier than even teenager that starts experimenting with girls and alcohol.

The regulars of the show are still there with Berta being hilarious in pretty much every scene she is in and Evelyn, Rose, Judith and Herb reprising their usual well portrayed roles.
I am a big fan of two and a half men and this season did not disappoint me.
Is it as fun as the previous seasons? Well that's an answer that will vary for each of us.
Personally I am looking forward to Season 7!
5*.

I am totally addicted to this series as are so many others around the world.
I find the writing extremely clever, with a laugh every few seconds, on average.
The script writers are to be given due credit for thinking up endless permutations for these characters.
Although all the actors are, in their own way, funny in delivering these lines, I find that Jon Cryer is incredibly talented and, in my opinion, more so than Charlie Sheen, his brother in the series.
Holland Taylor as the brothers' mother should be mentioned also for delivering her lines so superbly.
All in all, a wonderful series.

This is the funniest series every written. Every single episode is a hoot and begs the question how the writers consistently come up with the goods, but, they do and in a big way. Fast delivery and well packaged.

I absolutely love this comedy series and after a bit of a dip, Charlie, Alan and Jake are back at their juvenile best. There are some gentle and really laugh out loud moments, Jake is so funny without realising it, I just love Alan, Charlie is priceless and their mother is an absolute scream with some of her one liners. I'm watching series 7 on cable at the moment and looking forward for this coming out on DVD as well.

We love this show despite its political 'incorrectness'. All the female charactors are great in their own right too - the mother and the house keeper are exceptional foils to the guys and we always watch several episodes back to back. We have all six series and never tire of re-watching them on dvd or even when they are on tv. Get this if you want to have a bellyfull of laughs but not if you are too easily offended.

Love it or hate it. I do not think it is a middle ground kind of humour. It is stereotypical, absurd, masogynistic, people are awful to one another, but it makes me laugh. My kind of humour. My son LOVES it and he was a tween when he started watching it and is now 13. He and has his friends love it though sometimes I feel guilty for letting him watch it as it is pretty raunchy humour.
