More About the Author

Sara Greenfield started her career as a lawyer, becoming a partner at a young age in a slightly quirky firm in central London. This firm grew to be a top 100 UK firm and Sara worked on multi-million pound property developments, travelling to the Far East as well as selling up to 200 properties at a time at UK launches.

This might seem a far cry from running a marketing business, but in fact, Sara often worked with her property clients in fast-paced sales environments.

After 16 years in the law, Sara decided that she had achieved everything she wanted and planned a different pace of life.

On telling her husband that she was thinking of giving up her job, he replied "So will I".

They researched businesses and places to live, then both gave in their notice, and moved to start a new life, with their 6 year old in tow, in Norfolk UK.

They bought a marketing business, The Best of Norwich, in 2005 and then in 2011, created a second, complementary, business, Bright Yellow Marketing, to provide social media training and mentoring.

This second business came about because of The Best of Norwich clients. One client asked Sara to tweet his books, and in doing research for him, Sara saw that many authors were struggling to use Twitter. She therefore published "How to Tweet Your Book: A Beginner's Guide to Twitter" in Spring 2013.

At the same time, people were asking for LinkedIn training and Sara saw that people were coming up against the same problems time and time again. She published "LinkedIn Success Strategies" in September 2013 and then published an online course of the same name in December 2013.

"Twitter Success Strategies" was published in July 2014.

Sara continues to run both businesses and spends her time connecting people, promoting local businesses, coaching authors, running networking events and exhibitions, and keeping up with all the latest marketing and social media developments.

As the social media landscape changes on a daily basis, it is lucky that Sara loves learning!
