    Hence this review.

I received these from Amazon recently, rinsed them through and dried them - challenging but not major. However, after being used for frozen smoothies (always a pleasure), trying to get all the remnants of fruity yoghurt from within the mechanism is a nightmare. I tried a bottle brush, standard washing-up brush as well as the dishwasher, but found it was virtually impossible to remove all residues.

Maybe this is less of a big deal for others, but if not refilled immediately, the decaying yoghurt leaves a horrible smell and would, I feel, taint the plastic holder in a negative way. Also, from a hygiene point-of-view, this is less good.

I did manage to take a holder apart, but this is NOT easy at all and when I tried, using a (blunt) knife edge, I managed to scratch the plastic. Putting it back together was very difficult because although it sort of "snaps" back together, you've really got to force it.

Brilliant idea (as commented on by other reviewers) but extremely difficult to clean.

I bought some of these today from John Lewis, and they're brilliant! Filled them with lemonade, and they work great, you put the lid on and put them in the freezer, then when they're frozen you take the top off and push it on to the bottom which makes it into a handle. Then twist, and the lolly pushes up. No leaks or mess like all the others I've tried.

After trying many moulds I bought the Twistix moulds (at £2 less than a national store was offering them)-teriffic product, they keep my grandchildren clean.I like the idea of using fresh fruit or yoghurt.

They were due to arrive on the 5th of January but I got them today which is super! I used them today and found one problem with this product. When you fill them up with a fizzy drink (Such as Coke), up to the line it leaks out from under the lid even if it is securely on. This doesn't happen to any other beverages, it's just fizzy ones! I don't know why it does that but apart from that I love this product!!

I bought these last summer because they looked great. We filled them with yoghurt. Froze them and they also tasted great. This is when the trouble started.
When we tried to wash these they were impossible to clean. Nothing reaches the fiddly nooks and crannies of these lolly moulds- not a sink filled with hot water and a bottle brush or even a dishwasher. So we put them away. A few days later I got them out to try to wash them again and the yellow lolly stick was cover with black mould. We threw them all in the bin.
My friend also has these lolly moulds and has said that after they are frozen a few times the twisty bits at the bottom stop working so you cannot actually get the frozen lolly out of the mould. A waste of hard earned money.
