Firstly, an explanation of the score... I hated this product and think it's horrendous. However, my wife doesn't mind it, our baby will go to sleep with it so I feel obliged to be a little generous with the score.
The CD is rather old-fashioned sounding with a fairly sombre / dull vocal to try and get your baby to sleep. The sound quality is okay.
I can understand the logic of taking a song and singing it nice and slow, but the choice of songs is truly bizarre. Swing Low Sweet Chariot is something you sing at Twickenham watching the rugby after 5 pints of Guinness; Row Row Row Your Boat is a song you sing to your little one to entertain them and keep them awake.
Actually what's rather dastardly about the whole thing is that the first few songs are quite normal (Rock-a-bye-baby, Twinkle Twinkle Little Star and Lavender Blue amongst others) so it's okay until mummy and daddy have gone... but Down In The Valley, Incy Wincy Spider, Frere Jacques, Little Bo Beep and Scarborough Fair are not bedtime songs regardless of how sombre they are sung. Poor baby is going to end up with one curious taste in music.
If this does work for you, may I recommend listening to Crash Test Dummies or perhaps any pop song played at half speed... it will do the same thing. In fact, maybe the shipping forecast. Sleep and geography lessons at the same time!
