Not suitable in my opinion for marking CD's. The thick side is far to thick and the thin side is literally unreadable.
If you want to read the CD titles in the car it's either to cluttered or unreadable. Very nice to use for other purposes.

The thin tip is far too thin and pretty much does not write on the CD, while the thick tip is far too thick to write anything legible, unless you do big letters... It smells awful, so far you may get dizzy if you need to write over many CDs at once, and after a month they have stopped writing properly, half of each letter has no ink at all! A waste of money!

I ordered these pens to replace the Verbatim Pen that broke.
For the price, they're pretty good. Double-Ended, one thick and the other thin. The thick side isnt the best pen to use on discs, as it really is thick and black. The thin side was much better, although the ink was a little lighter then I would have liked when using the thin side.
One problem I did have with these pens though, was the smell.
As soon as I took the top off, I got a big whiff up my nose. Not really the kind of thing you should give to your kids, but alright for Adults and CD writing.
