Product Description
The rechargable wireless dehumidifing egg can reduce the humidity where used. This reusable unit is ideal for small areas around the home and in other places like caravans, boats etc and can remove up to 120g of moisture per use. No electric power is needed during use but does require to be regenerated in a microwave when full which is done within 5 minutes(half power-400w)- PLEASE NOTE - REMOVE CRADLE AND STOPPER BEFORE MICROWAVING - IDEALY SIT EGG UPSIDE DOWN IN MICROWAVEABLE CUP. The indicator on the side of the cradle tells you when full, pink when wet and blue when dry.
A dehumidifier takes moisture from the air lowering the humidity. It does this bycondensing water onto a cold surface like an ice cold drink on a warm day, the water condenses on the outside.

I have to laugh at some of the people here saying stuff like 'when I removed the stopper the crsytals fell out' (er it's called gravity) and 'the stopper melted when I put in the microwave' (you're supposed to take it out- turn the egg upside down inside a cup before you microwave it).
These have completely removed the damp smell from my conservatory and cupboard under the stairs. If you are trying to keep a larger room from becoming damp logic would dictate you need to use more then one, also they will not stop condensation, only ventilation can do that,or repel huge tides of water (Moses is your man for that) but combined with ventilation they do a great job.
A little egg shaped miracle in fact.

I had been looking for these for some time to help to dry out a bedroom window. Although I do not expect the eggs to remove all traces of condensation, they are able to vastly reduce the amount of water gathering. I have read some of the previous reviews prior to purchase and was dubious about the reactivation process but have done it twice now with no problems at all.
All in all a good addition to my home and would recommend for others.

Despite what many have said about the eggs being only suitable for small spaces such as cupboards, I have found them to perform well in groups for larger rooms.
We had a major problem with condensation in our bedroom which caused a lot of damp. Four of these eggs were placed around the room and after two days I noticed improvements.
The drips in the corners of the walls had gone and every part of the upper wall was bone dry. It has been over a week now and our bedroom is no longer plagued by damp.
Great looking product and performs very well.

Dont buy - Rubbish
Very disappointed. Product did not collect one drop of moisture. Chucked in the bin. Waste of money & time.

Does not work

Very few instructions came with these devices, I put them in the microwave and they melted. Don't waste your money
