There had been so much talk about B2M reuniting with Babyface. However, Babyface's presence on this album is very much inconspicuous - actually he seems to have been overshadowed by Tim and Bob's productions - for example on tracks such as So Amazing and Slowly. I honestly couldn't put my finger on the chemistry that once existed between the group and the production maestro - even on their single, the mediocre 'One Up For Love'. I hoped for their long-time collaborators - Jimmy Jam and Terry Lewis to lend some production on the album, but maybe it could have turned out the same way as it did with Babyface. Moving forward, perhaps B2M need to keep a formula of finding harmonious productions that blend well with their excellent voices - it proved to be difficult on this album
Maybe as a die-hard B2M fan my expectations were too high - but in short, none of the original songs on this album blew me waway like the first time i listened to classics such as; Girl in the Life Magazine, On Bended Knee, Four Seasons of Loneliness, I Finally Know, The Colour of Love ... the list goes on.
