Product Description

A collection of interlinked tales of crime and retribution laced with dark humour, set around the festive season - from the number-1 best seller Stuart MacBride. Thieves, drug dealers, lap-dancers, gangsters, and even the odd good guy populate these 12 tales exploring the seedier side of life in North East Scotland.

A bit short 31 Dec 2011
Format:Kindle Edition
This is an enjoyable read, with the 12 stories linking to each other. Don't expect the hero Logan McRae. My only gripe is the cost at 4.99 which is dearer than his usual books., for such a short read

Book ordered - arrived on time - packing was excellent. What else can you say about a book. Personally I dont think this is one of the authors best.

My first ever Kindle book, MacBride gets darker & bleaker in this selection of short Yuletide stories, in between my bouts of tinsel, presents & brussel sprouts, instead of hovering over a selection of chocolates, i sampled the gory & very dark selection on offer from MacBride.
Don't expect Logan, instead you get a real lowlife, grim festive leer, after reading some of the tales, it was nice to get back to the sweet & sugary, sureal world of Xmas & cleanse myself of Stuart MacBrides black humour.
You will either love it or loathe this book/Kindle, i enjoyed it, but do you dare try it?
