These toenail clippers are over-priced and won't do the job they are supposed to. The clippers look well made but have a fundamental design problem - the jaws don't open wide enough to cut a big toenail. There just isn't enough gap between the jaws to get hold of a thick toenail. The only way I could make use of them was by cannibalising several pairs of clippers I have so that the pillar linking the jaws together came from an old pair and was much longer than the one fitted. This allows the jaws to open much wider than before. A useless product as supplied!

Having used a fantastic pair of Tweezerman toenail clippers on very thick toenails for the past two years I expected the new ones to work just as well. These new ones don't open as wide as the previous ones and so are unable to grip the toenails let alone cut them. Very disapointed and still have long thick toenails!

even though these are a little more expensive than you average nail clippers these are tough as old boots and well made worth buying
