Yes, these are brilliant tweezers. But like all tweezers, they don't stay as sharp. And here's the catch. When I sent mine off trustingly to America to be sharpened as advertised, two months ago, I honestly thought they would be returned. But sadly, no. In which case, no, I don't think they are worth the price I paid for them. A huge pity. (BTW if they do find their way home, I will update this review immedediately)
UPDATE AS PROMISED
The tweezers arrived back today 5/1/2011. And with them was a semi-literate note saying "your implement arrived at Tweezerman in a condition in which we could not sharpen or repair it...we would like to give you the opportunity to replace your damaged item at half price. Return this wih your payment in US$ to etc etc"
Well - the tweezers are in perfect condition just as they were when I sent them - they are just blunt. Sorry Tweezerman - but you certainly aren't getting any more £, $, or any other currency out of me again.
