Yes, these are brilliant tweezers. But like all tweezers, they don't stay as sharp. And here's the catch. When I sent mine off trustingly to America to be sharpened as advertised, two months ago, I honestly thought they would be returned. But sadly, no. In which case, no, I don't think they are worth the price I paid for them. A huge pity. (BTW if they do find their way home, I will update this review immedediately)
UPDATE AS PROMISED
The tweezers arrived back today 5/1/2011. And with them was a semi-literate note saying "your implement arrived at Tweezerman in a condition in which we could not sharpen or repair it...we would like to give you the opportunity to replace your damaged item at half price. Return this wih your payment in US$ to etc etc"
Well - the tweezers are in perfect condition just as they were when I sent them - they are just blunt. Sorry Tweezerman - but you certainly aren't getting any more £, $, or any other currency out of me again.

Who would imagine that tweezers could bring such joy! I've had these tweezers for a while now and wouldn't be without them. They're very solid, (nothing flimsy here) and the metal edges fit together perfectly. The slanted head means they're very easy to use, even on the smallest hairs. I can understand why the beauty industry rave about these because for the price they are a quality product. Another bonus is that Tweezerman usually say you can send them back to be re-sharpened free of charge for the life of the product but so far, I've never needed to do this and I use them on a regular basis. I personally wouldn't buy any other tweezers.

Was hesitant to spend this amount of money on a pair of tweezers and only did so after reading the reviews.
All I can say is that they are indeed well worth the money. I am unfortunate in being blessed with very strong course hair that is a bugger to get rid of in places I don't want it. Tweezerman's dealt with it quickly and easily and unlike the cheaper versions it did not snap the hair or keep slipping through.

Best tweezers I have ever found
I am a fussy eyebrown tweezer person so was so glad when I found these. The slant and point make even the fine hairs easy to pull out.

Tweezers
Very happy great product, but they do seem to 'wear' quite quickly. Pretty colour, I am not sure about the resharpening in the US though.
