The Tweenies are back for some more all-singing, all-dancing fun. This lively nursery is attended by four, multi-coloured children, with oversize shoes and large, happy faces--Bella, Milo, Fizz and Jake--and a large, fluffy red dog. Aimed at pre-teen children, from about age three, The Tweenies is popular BBC TV show that encourages activity and participation in the viewer.

After the lively "Come and Have Fun with the Tweenies" introductory song, each episode starts with the Tweeny Clock, which has five options, one of which is "Songtime".

This collection for video, Songtime, is a non-stop series of upbeat songs, both familiar and new, and the Tweeny children have great fun dressing-up as the characters and acting out the storylines. Favourite and familiar songs such as "10 Fat Sausages Sizzling in a Pan", "If You're happy and You Know it", "Here We Go Round the Mulberry Bush" and "The Grand Old Duke of York" are interspersed with new songs, such as "Feel the Music" and "Rainy Day", all of them with actions to copy, so by time gentler songs such as "I'd Like To Be A Bubble" comes on, you will all be glad of the rest! --Alison Jardine

My daughter from the age of 5 months was responding to this tape. At 8 months she grabs her rattle to tap in time with the music. Her feet kick with great excitment. I have fun singing along and playing with her. Can't wait until she is walking and talking. Hours of entertainment!!!!!

Our two year old was given this as a birthday present, to aide her with her English. She just loves it and actually tries to kiss some of the characters, she thinks one of them is her grandfather. My husband sings "I went to school this morning and I walked like this", while I sing "Copy, copy, copy me do". Very catchy songs and pleasant characters, we've seen or heard this video almost daily for the past month and aren't sick of it yet, which means it's far from annoying.

Put your finger on your tummy, on your tummy! Oops sorry! Absolutely brill - my 18 month old daughter totally loves this video - she tries to sing and copy the actions and dances around the living room to the music! (and so does her mum!!) Its fab!
