The Tube Software - Rubbish! 28 Mar 2008

The 'Tube' software is rubbish - I can't get any decent reception or picture clarity. It won't find all the channels that my Freeview box can find and gets a 100% reception!

I've seen other Mac DVB USB devices working fine - this one doesn't!

This item will be going straight on eBay!!!

Few regrets about buying this 21 Feb 2012

It's pretty good and much cheaper than other Mac options. The aerial will always be critical with this sort of product and many people will not be able to use a roof aerial.
I get a reasonable number of channels with a One4All 45dB amplified aerial, but the passive roof aerial pulls in many more.

The Tube software is OK but not as good as Windows Media Centre. The ClimaxDigital tuner is cheaper, gets more stations, and works better with Windows Media Centre, but sadly is PC only. It also receives digital radio channels which the Miglia doesn't.

ClimaxDigital - you're missing the Mac market!

Outstanding product that does what it says on the tin! 21 April 2010

Great picture quality, rivals any other device I have tried including the early TVMini that this replaced. Software is beautifully simple and flexible with some great features to watch TV on your iPhone for example, a vast improvement from the early 2008 version and able to rival any other product on the market today, Mac or Windows. You wont be disappointed.

Software absolutely ruins this product.

I had the original Miglia TVMini when it came bundled with EyeTV which was superb. This new TVMini2 now comes with The Tube software which is horrendous. Read more
