Bought this book for a friend and from reading through it decided to buy it myself. Some great authentic and homily receipes I would recommend anyone to try whether you have been to Italy or not.

Great Book with lots of good recipes, but like a lot of books of today there seemed to be lots of irrelevant pictures, but this is just at first glance. Once you understand that the writer is setting the scene, trying to create an ambiance, it all becomes clear, makes sense and adds to the pleasure of the cooking experience.

A warm journey into authentic food of the Tuscan region, supplemented by beautiful photographs. The book highlights dishes from the various regions. I was drawn to traditional dishes of times past which have been made trendy over recent times, as well as the more well known dishes.

This book is more than a cookbook, it is a history of regional cooking in Tuscany. The photos are amazing, and the recipes are not complicated. A must have for Italy and Italian food lovers.

Very good book. Did come with one ripped page in the shrink wrap, but very minor.

I own several of Phiadon's books, The Silver Spoon, Vefa's Kitchen, 1080 Recipes. All are top notch. This is much thinner than those, but still just as good.

You will need to be creative with substitutions as some ingredients are hard to find in the US.
