Connecting The P11 To A PS3 or PC/MAC
HDMI Video
- Step 1: Connect the (red/white) audio cables from the PS3 AV cable to the P11 splitter cable (red/white).
- Step 2: Connect the P11 audio cable (green) to the splitter cable input (green).
- Step 3: Insert the P11 USB/Power connector to an open USB port on the PS3 console.
- Step 4: Configure PS3 Audio and Chat Settings.
Composite Video
- Step 1: Connect the (red/white) audio cables from the PS3 AV cable to the P11 splitter cable (red/white).
- Step 2: Connect the P11 audio splitter cable (red/white) to the stereo audio input (red/white) jacks on your TV. You will be able to hear the game audio on the TV as well as the P11.
- Step 3: Connect the PS3 audio cable (green) to the splitter cable input (green).
- Step 4: Insert the P11 USB/Power connector to an open USB port on the PS3 console.
- Step 5: Configure PS3 Audio and Chat Settings.
PC or MAC
- Step 1: Connect the P11’s green 3.5mm audio plug to the speaker or headphone output of your PC/Mac sound card.
- Step 2:Insert the P11’s USB/Power connector to an open USB port on your PC/Mac to power the headset/amplifier.

Fun:
If you want some amazing headphones for the PS3/PC then these are the ones to go for. They aren't too expensive like the PX5's or any of the ones above, but the lower price tag DOES NOT mean lower quality. These are amazing quality and I love them to bits.
The only thing I do get annoyed about sometimes is the fact I often knock the volume controls with my hand, when I've got the control attached to the bottom of my top. This is the only thing which is wrong with the P11's though and isn't that much of a nusense as you can just quickly flick the wheel to your liking before the game starts.
These are the ultimate in gaming on the PS3, unless you want to spend about 4x more for the ultimate-ultimate, but I would say these are brilliant for any average - pro gamer looking to improve their games even more. The fact you can hear people's footsteps behind you with the surround sound is amazing, and allows you to quickly turn around and kill the opponent before he even realises what's happened.
Just to clarify - the P11's come with everything you need to setup the headset. I was quite skeptical about this at first, thinking I may have to buy separate cables and things, but all you need is the headset, the L+R audio splitter cable (included) and the playstation default display cables which come with the system itself, allowing you to either use an HDMI cable you already own for video (which is what I do) or plug the Red/white/yellow cables into the TV as you normally do, with the splitter (included) splitting the cables so you get sound out the TV and the headset. Sorry if you're confused by this - but basically everything you need is in the box, and there are simple instructions on how to set it up in the box too.

-supremely comfortable with ear cups made from a very durable not pleather fabric
-Sound is high quality
-Mic is sensitive and reliable
-great value for money
Con's/ Comments
- "Amplified" means that you hear more easily NOT that you hear more.
- "stereo" is just left and right, in general you wont be able to say there are footsteps to the northeast just that there are footsteps.
-This is not a pro gammer headset, spend a bit more to get the px21's
Summary, I would 100% buy this headset again if i was a casual gammer who wants to get that little bit more out of first person shooters without splashing the cash.
Also i found the sound of people climbing ladders was particularly highlighted with these.

Fun:
Perfect for the gamer that wants a great gaming experience that doesn't cost the earth.
This headset is brilliant!
Pros
-Fantastic sound quality especially for hearing footsteps etc
-Control settings are excellent (You can have the game volume loud or chat volume loud or balance them).
-Mic is crisp and clear (When you do the mic test you will know because you can hear yourself).
-Extremely comfortable to wear and is over ear, so no irritation.
-They are not heavy on your head and the mic is the only way you know your still wearing them.
Minor...minor cons [IF I HAVE TO BE REALLY PICKY]
-The plastic is quite flimsy, but still durable (If you really wanted to break them you could). I don't think any kind of accidental knock or drop on the floor would cause any damage to them.
-Length of the cable, the cable is extremely long (This is bad due to my personal preference because i'm close to the tv and ps3 if you play a long way away from your ps3 its fine).
Moving from using your bog standard headsets (the earpiece ones, low end headsets) to this is a whole level up!
This is an absolute steal for the price if you have never had a headset by a high end manufacturer then I definitely recommend them! ITS A MUST BUY!!
