I have a five year old boy and it's currently his favourite book, he's a big fan of snakes and I think it's well written and a good vocabulary stretcher. This book has definitely joined our bedtime reading 'heavy-rotation' list!

I'm a mum of two young kids (1 and 2 years old). They both love it when iread them Turpentine, especially the page pull-out at the end, which theyalways seem to find funny. It appears to be one of those books they wantagain and again. In fact I'm rather bored of getting pestered about itevery bedtime!
