George and Sophie are saving to go on their first holiday together. Sophie has entrusted George with her holiday money the only trouble is, unbeknownst to her, George is flat broke. In a vain attempt to raise cash, he uses Sophie's holiday money to fund an ill-advised drug deal. Now George is left running out of time to put things right, to save face, his holiday and their relationship. Featuring a stunning cast including Ophelia Lovibond (4,3,2,1), George Russo and Ben Drew (Plan B), TURNOUT is an edge of your seat race into the heart of London life.

Sponsored by Ralph Lauren, this is another Brit flop of a film. An awful chav cast deliver a chav story about a small time drug dealing young man, where every other word is bruv.

George (an unlike-able main character) and his girlfriend (big fringe and teeth and not much else) are planning a holiday, but George has no job and is a cockney waster - like his council estate mates. So he buys some cocaine to re-sell and earn the holiday money he requires to woo his 'posher bird'.

Turnout, or better named Burnout, boasts woeful acting, silly, obvious scripting, a stretched classic idea and a young Paul Bettany look alike messing around North London. It is as soft as the main character, with style over substance, stereotypes and comical cartoon representatives throughout.

The ending will be viewed one of 2 ways (as a good inevitable tidy ending or a hard to believe total cop-out) . Either way it's conclusion is that this is a modern, independent love story with little substance (other than the drugs).
T.O is a small film happy just being different, watering down content with easy slang and yob behaviour making up for a lack of quality content.

Not for everyone 'bruv', ultimately silly and niche, geezers only tonight.

Having had the pleasure of seeing this film last night, it has to be said, it really bodes well for British film. Well styled, with lots of laugh-out-loud moments. The lead is very well played by George Russo, and the relationship he has with his mates is so realistic and down-to-earth. Ophelia Lovibond is, of course, stunning. There's definitely something for everyone here - a good "gangster" drugs-and-money chase for the boys, and the story of George and Sophie's relationship for the girls. I was most taken tho, by the styling of the film. incredibly well shot, great soundtrack. Highly recommended.

Tells the perils of drugs and all the hangers on that they attract. The acting is ok but Ben Drew is only in one scene ... worth a look.

Absolutely compelling this film drags you into a part of London life that is rarely seen on film.

Although sometimes slightly far-fetched the film manages to show us what living in London is really like
