Highlights the need for British churches to receive help in their own local mission initiatives from Christians in other countries who believe God is calling them to serve and bring the Gospel to Europe. It also underlines the preferred way of there being churches that are multi-national rather than only including those from their own cultures.

This collection of personal accounts from missionaries working within the uk is both fascinating and disturbing. This might be a good read for someone preparing to, or working, in a cross cultural setting.

5.0 out of 5 stars The UK from a different point of view 1 Oct 2013
Format:Kindle Edition
It's fascinating to read about the lives of people who have taken the brave step of coming to the UK to bring the good news.

As a lifelong London resident, it is sobering to realise how strange are many of the things in our culture we take for granted!

The fixed idea that mission is the exclusive possession of western churches was turned back through this book. Especially, the title 'Turning the Table on Mission' is very impressive~!
