This is a cool deck of cards to place on your coffee table, and to draw from when sipping on a glass of wine, or thinking about the more sophisticated or subtle language of love and romance.
4.0 out of 5 stars Famous Pick Up Lines 7 July 2009

Famous Pick-Up Lines is a fun pack of movie pickup lines on flash cards. Pretty good. Not as many movies as I thought would be represented but definitely some fun lines and a new movie or two I'd like to watch.
4.0 out of 5 stars Famous Pick Up Lines - Makes A Great Gift For Movie Buffs 28 Oct 2008
By Mark - Published on Amazon.com
Famous Pick-Up Lines is one of those niche products that is really designed to be given as a gift. I don't know that if I would have passed this in the store, it would have screamed "buy me!" But I am very happy that I did receive this as a gift. As a fanatical movie buff and student of all the backstories, I was very pleased with this product.

Essentially, you have an attractive box (with a scene from Casablanca, of course) that contains thirty movie flash cards. On one side you'll see the famous one-liner, and on the other a film still and some info on the movie it comes from.

The information is short and sweet. But I could totally see this being used as a quick party trivia game when you get together with your fellow movie geeks. Or just enjoy reading them alone. Either way, these are really cool.

So if you have somebody on your list who loves classic films and would appreciate a trip down memory lane, then this is a great stocking stuffer or gift.

Definitely worth a look.

Enjoy.

4.0 out of 5 stars FLASH! SEX AND THE CITY ... HOLLYWOOD-STYLE 6 May 2004
By Alan W. Petrucelli - Published on Amazon.com
Getting an education in love and marriage and the birds and the bees and all tings in-between doesn't get more retro than this. This is a set of flashcards, each featuring a famous one-liner and movie still from all the classic heartfelt flicks. Fatten up on the skinny on the films and you'll be scoring big time. Here's looking at you, kid!
