5.0 out of 5 stars Turn Two 7 Aug 2008

Taylor Robison is NASCAR driver Hank Mission's new PR manager. Taylor is nervous about her new job. When she sees Mike Lundquist, the man she needs to impress the most, the man who has become the most trusted voice in racing, Taylor panics because Mike is her ex-husband. The tension is thick between Taylor and Mike but there˘s still a spark buried behind the pain of their divorce. Working together brings them closer than they˘ve been in a long time. Can they work things out or will they still have trouble in turn two?

Turn Two is a fun and heartwarming story. It's packed with emotion, and the chemistry between Mike and Taylor is great. There's a lot of tension between them at first and that's what makes the ending so good. Turn Two is terrific from start to finish!

5.0 out of 5 stars Harlequin NASCAR Series Library 16 Jun 2013

Turn Two by Nancy Warren
Harlequin NASCAR Library Series
Taylor Robinson has just returned from Australia. It was time to get back to work. After a few tragedies she ran away from her marriage and everything else. The last thing she expected to find in her new PR job for a rookie in NASCAR was her ex-husband. No matter how far you run it seems life has a way of finding you.

Mike Lundquist had tried to forget the woman who ran away from him and left him to deal with their home and all the pieces of their broken marriage. Seeing her again let him know that he failed at putting her behind him. And now they'd be working closely in the NASCAR world, she needed to get her rookie in the news and Mike was one of the main reporters she'd have to schmooze, he liked that idea.

Another great addition to the NASCAR series. This book continues where Speed Dating left off. Dylan and Kendall have an active part in this book as they continue their relationship. Carl Edwards makes another cameo appearance in this book as well.

I'm not a huge romance novel fan, unless there's a little more to the plot than just man meets woman, they fall in love, the work through the problem, and then live happily ever after. Let's be "real" as the people say, nine out of ten romance novels are just that, with a few exceptions, for example, Nora Roberts. Having said that, I am a HUGE NASCAR fan. I downloaded this book on my Kindle, because I previously downloaded and read some of the other Harlequin NASCAR books. Much to my surprise, I actually liked the books, and the authors know their NASCAR, right down to Carl Edwards' back-flips when he wins races, and there is a real-life NASCAR Sprint Cup driver who happens to be named Carl Edwards, and if he wins a race, he does a back-flip off of his driver's side window. I do like this book, as well as the other NASCAR-themes Harlequin books, and I plan on downloading and reading the ones that I haven't read.

4.0 out of 5 stars entertaining NASCAR romance 31 Oct 2007
By Harriet Klausner - Published on Amazon.com
Format:Mass Market Paperback
With some regret, Taylor Robinson and Mike Lundquist divorced one another with neither expecting to ever see the other again. However, Mike has become a highly regarded NASCAR journalist. Taylor, through a friend, has become the public relations specialist for a driving team.

When they see each other for the first time since they went their separate ways, both are stunned. However, more shocking is that they must work together as she deals with the media as part of her job and he is the media. Mike and Taylor realize separately that they remain attracted to their ex. When they conspire to hide a driver's marriage from the public, the pair wonders if they were too hasty with their divorce. However, neither wants to be the first to tell the other they still love them.

This is an entertaining NASCAR romance although car racing serves as a catalyst that forces the lead couple to spend time together. Taylor and Mike are likable characters, who readers will believe belong together and wonder why the divorce in the first place. Still this is a fine second chance at love spin around the oval.
