With a cordon bleu diploma and a degree in social anthropology, she has used her knowledge of Asian and Middle Eastern culinary cultures to write several highly acclaimed cookbooks, including Classic Turkish Cookery, which was shortlisted for the Glenfiddich Book of the Year and the Guild of Food Writers' Cookery Book of the Year awards, and The Middle Eastern Kitchen.

Excellent recipe book. We are creating the food from our lovely Turkish holiday in a family Turkish evening, and this book has helped to bring back the authentic tastes of that time. Very pleased with my purchase.

l am Turkish and ordering this book for friends this is the 5th order and all my friends are loving it. All the recipes are easy to follow, ingredients are easy to find in U.K. l can highly recommend this book any one wants to taste the real Turkish food.

I bought this book for a friend who is about to move to Turkey. As I am a fan of Turkish food I had a quick peek & loved the recipes. Most were quite simple & I took details of a few. This book would be very suitable for both new and experienced cooks.
