Format:Paperback
A good yarn in its own right, with the added interest of references to patchwork and quilting throughout. The use of a traditional patchwork design name as the title of the novel is reflected in the way the heroine solves the crime that she sets out to investigate. As an avid reader of crime fiction, who has at least two patchworks on the go at any one time (for when I'm not reading), this was an exciting and unusual combination. A knowledge of patchwork is not essential to enjoyment of the story, however the way the author weaves ..or should I say 'pieces'? ... the plot together under this theme is different and makes stimulating reading.
