There is a difficult balancing act for holiday guidebooks between heavy, comprehensive ones and briefer, lighter ones. This Thomas Cook guidebook manages to cover all of the main topics (resorts, excursions, lifestyle, practical information, maps and even useful phrases) in a genuinely pocket-sized, slim volume.
It is in colour throughout, and features small, but clear, print. The main resorts are well-covered (10 pages each for Antalya and Alanya, 7 for Side) and the guide is a genuine bargain at the Amazon advertised price.
Recommended without reservation.
n.b. If you are also looking for a more comprehensive guide to Turkey, you should consider Turkey Insight Guide (Insight Guides), which is extremely handsomely produced.

Great little book, ideal for someone going on a week or two week holiday.
Doesn't go into a huge amount of detail, but does just what it's supposed to, giving a little information about the area, what there is to do, food, traditions etc.
