Product Description

Slade Carven is the King of Death Metal and he will do anything to get publicity for his band. For example, he has planned a live concert on board a 747 Jumbo Jet which is to be broadcast live all over the world on the Internet. But it all goes horribly wrong when a crazed fan hijacks the plane and, watched by millions of viewers, threatens to kill anyone who gets in his way.

5.0 out of 5 stars A well loved favorite film! 11 May 2007

Two of the reviews on this page refer to sequels of this film so belong elsewhere....

This film the original is excellent because of the acting by Ray Liotta, the performance he gives is very creepy and menacing, it actually comes accross as such, so much so that it makes you feel the same as Holly does. But hey that's just my opinion!

The storyline itself is that at Christmas a couple of convicts being accompanied by Marshalls are on the flight with a few other passengers. Liotta plays a dangerours murderer, who will stop at nothing not to reach his destination including crashing the plane..........

Well worth a watch, if in doubt rent it before you buy or catch it on Sky!

4.0 out of 5 stars Phew! 8 Feb 2013
Format:DVD
If you can get past the usual daft stuff where the heroine does exactly the wrong thing (goes looking for her injured friend etc) it's a good edge of seat movie. There's quite a lot of tongue in cheek humour in it and, particularly towards the end, it reminded me in bits of Airplane! the spoof movie but it's great fun, good effects and worth watching.
