Fun Spanish Take on Teen Horror Genre 14 Nov. 2006
By Kardius - Published on
Format: DVD
The plot of this movie concerns a series of murders at Spanish universities in which the students with the three lowest grades are being killed off after each examination period. As this plot summary suggests, Tuno negro is far from being or wanting to be a classic, but it is well-produced and it really is a lot of fun if you like teen horror movies. There's not much gore. This is more like a Spanish version of the 'Scream' movies, filtered through Spanish university customs (the 'tunos' of the title). It's well worth a rental.
