This is a stonkingly good album. Fave tracks include Simple Pleasures, Tart with A Heart, Honey is That Love, The Truth (a nod to the Kiping-esque lyrics), The Radio Played Good Vibrations

Classic British rock music, great playing fab tunes what more do you want !!

Brilliant 30 Jan 2008

Superb showcase of Kim's highly original, stirring and unforgetable tunes.
Haunting lyrics and superb guitar work with some enviable riffs.
You gotta love it!

If you've got this far, you know what to expect. Much more the Kimberley Rew who won the Eurovision than the Kimberley Rew who's godfather of the new wave, with poppy, harmonic arrangements, this is as good an album of Beach Boy-esque pop as you could hope for. (Many of the songs were originally written for Katrina and the Waves, and it shows).

The only real down point, surprisingly, is some poor guitar work from, of all people, Robyn Hitchcock - usually one of the best lead guitarists around.
