It took a long time to get the book, but it was worth waiting for. Here you get lots of instructions and photographs. It is easy to follow even for a not native english\american. I have allready started to make a scarf from the book..The author has made a wonderful piece of work :O)

Fantastic introduction to Tunisian(Afghan) crochet. The instructions are easy to follow with clear diagrams. Fortunately, this US published book uses some yarns available in the UK (Colinette) and gives hooks sizes in mm. However some yarns and hooks sizes are very difficult to obtain this side of the pond. I have made several items and found the patterns easy to follow and no errors.

I had been looking for a while for a book on the subject. The designs are simple and pretty and I may or may not make them, but the instructions on how to actually do tunisian crochet are really clear and simple. The only missing thing was a comparison of the knit/purl to doing this the traditional way with two needles, However I am now armed to try this out for myself and love the idea of being able to knit whilst still work by eye which is the strength of crochet.
