Tummy "Wat Tyler" 16 July 2003
Format:Audio CD
Tummy compiles 43 songs that were released on the numerous records from Wat Tyler over the years. Filled with his biting sarcasm and humor, kinda folk-punk, Tummy is the best compilation of the bands work so far. ~ Personal Favorites include: Smells like Dog Poo, Fat Wa (both versions)and The Little People make love...

My only negative view for Tummy is there a some footy related songs on it that just dont seem to make sense to anyone unless your in the band....he he

Buy it, listen to it, hide it from your mum.

Fantastic piss take, they are great live not really music you just sit and listen to its more of an occasional thing for a laugh. Highlights are the 'little people' and 'hops and barley' which i find i have to play regularly. I think the album 'Fat of the band' is better and would recommend that ahead of this if you can find it!

42 tracks ! Wat Tyler's weakness is to let the comedy override the music at times . Even if you subtract the tracks on this album rather silly and childish , there is still plenty of really good songs left . When the band are at their best fulltilt thrashpunk folk they are good ! About half the tracks on here hit the spot . The track " Little People" is worth buying this cd for alone . Some bizzare covers (Rolf Harris) and strange ideas make this a worthwhile product , just skip past some of the more banal bits .
