Product Description
Please note this product works on science, there are no moving parts - the hot air hits the cold water and condenses. For it to work effectively it needs some ventilation in the room and the water in the unit needs to be as cold possible (ice would help) and may require changing during heavy use. It is recommended to not leave the unit unattended until you have established the effectiveness of the unit on your dryer.
Usage Instructions: Simply attach the 1.5m (4in) exhaust hose (supplied) to the steam outlet on your dryer, add some (1.5in) cold (the colder the better, iced water will help) water to the unit and that's it.
All the moisture/steam from the drying process is fed into the special re-useable container, which you empty after each use.

I bought this as a temporary solution until i can get a hole cut in my kitchen wall.
The hose itself is pretty good quality and managed to stand up to me pulling it around a bit to get it into place without splitting.
The box is also ok quality and doesnt look like it would split. My only problem it with the catches that hold the top of the box on. They are quite thin plastic and, while they don't look like they will break off, they do struggle to hold the lid on so you have to be a bit careful. Having said that, it's working fine for me.
The principle is simple, you just put a little bit of cold water in the bottom of the box and then start your dryer off. The water from your machine then collects in the box and the warm air escapes out of some vents in the top.
Basically a good option if you can't vent your dryer outside. Better than condensation all over the kitchen. It's a cheap product and it does the job. I don't think it would last forever though

I could not vent my dryer as there was no window near to it. This little 'box' is a great solution. I can have my dryer on and with no condensation, and when not in use, it fits tidily inside the drum of the dryer. Brilliant!

i purchased this vent kit as i had to move my tumble dryer into the garage it arrived within 2 days of purchase and i have found that it works great no condensation at all very pleased with the price and the product would recommend this to any one

Useless Purchase
Within minutes of starting the dryer the room was full of steam. This product had no effect whatsoever. Absolutely useless.
