4.0 out of 5 stars Nice little silicone sleeve 13 Jan 2010
    Verified Purchase
Sleeve is a good fit fo the Sansa Clip+ (the version with the MicroSD slot).

The case slips in behind the close fitting clip of the Clip+.

Only vaguely fits the original Clip, as the volume and power slider end up in the wrong place - Mini USB and 3.5mm jack cutouts still good though. Kind of makes an original Clip look like a Clip+, if you're into that sort of thing (weirdo).

One thing to note - a lot of folks use the Clip with audiophile headphones - the 3.5mm jack cut-out might cause problems with larger jacks on proper 'cans' since the cutout is only about 5mm wide - could prevent bulky jacks being inserted fully.

Some might argue that it's a little bit rich to put a case on a player as small, cost effective and shockproof as the Sansa Clip+ but I like to protect this awesome little player from the wear and tear it incurs following me around and singing in my ears. My original Clip looks like it has been rubbed vigorously with sandpaper.

Deducting a star for the fact that there is a little bit of a rough molding line 'lip' around the edges of the cut-outs and between the front and back halves which make it look a bit cheaper than it needs to - overall though the matte black silicone gives the player a nice "ninja" effect... (what a sad man I am).

If you're looking at it and considering it then I'm in good company though.

2.0 out of 5 stars Not good but no choice... 13 April 2010
If you are looking at this item you probably own that great little mp3 player, the Sansa Clip+. Unfortunately that means you have very little choice if you want a case for it. If you owned an I-p*d then you could pick up a case made of exactly the same material and of equal quality to this for a pound from any pound shop (some even have them at 3 for a pound) but because the Sansa is far less common you have to pay a premium.
The case is thin, unnattractive rubber and very expensive for what it is, but there aren't a lot of alternatives. My case also went a sort of grey colour very quickly and looks far worse than the Sansa does uncovered, but as far as doing what it is intended to, the only problem is the lack of protection for the screen.

    5.0 out of 5 stars recommened 15 Feb 2010
The case is very well made and fits the player like a glove. I use my clip+ at work and it as provided good protection so far. Do bear in mind that the screen is uncovered so if this a problem you might want to fit a screen protecter.

1.0 out of 5 stars Ridiculously expensive! 28 Aug 2010
I purchased this case for the Sandisk Sansa Clip I bought at the same time. When it arrived I thought it was joke. A flimsy rubber cover that actually makes it harder to use the Sansa Clip controls and it cost 12% of the cost of the MP3 player. About the worst value for money I have ever had. Don't buy this!

4.0 out of 5 stars Pricey but works 25 Mar 2010
    Verified Purchase
My one reservation is the asking price which seems a bit high for what it is but having said that, it does protect the Clip+ from wear and tear. Once you've slipped it over your Clip+, it should be pretty well protected. As a previous reviewer pointed out, the screen is left unprotected, so you may like to consider a protective film (I haven't bothered and it's all fine so far). As a fellow 'sad man' like another previous reviewer, I like the 'ninja' stealth look of the thing! (quote): 'How much more black could it be?' answer 'None more black' (unquote). It has a sexy feel to it (so perhaps the price is worth it after all!). No, you can't see the symbols very well but there's only 6 buttons anyway so after a while, it all becomes second nature.
Would I buy another? Probably, it fits well, looks neat, does the job and feels great!

2.0 out of 5 stars not the advertised case? 12 Jan 2011
    Verified Purchase
This review is intended as a heads up to anyone else specifically looking for the Tuff Luv silicone case, as otherwise like me you could end up disappointed here.

The case I received was in a plastic bag marked "Wireless Accessories", with no mention of "Tuff luv". There are several different makes/versions of this silicone case on sale,on amazon, ebay and from various suppliers, and some get better reviews than others so though they all look similar this is probably important to anyone who decides not to just opt for the cheapest.

Since it appears to be the wrong case I haven't tried it on my Clip Plus, but just looking at it through the packet I can see there is no specific hole for where the microphone is on the Clip, so unless the larger hole for the Clip's clip itself doesn't cover it up (looks like it would), anyone who uses the microphone feature would need to cut their own hole or else remove the case for recording. Personally I prefer the microphene covered, but others might not.

Since my case was sold through an Amazon merchant, returning it is was a bit of a pain as there was no pre-paid (Amazon) label available and it needed to go back to Jersey, meaning queuing at the post office again. Took a few emails to get the postage sorted but eventually Amazon's customer service saw to a full refund. I got no word one way or the other about whether the case was actually genuine or not.

EDITTED AND UPDATED 28 JAN 2011: Bought a replacement case from I-nique, who own the Tuff-Luv brand. It was packaged differently to the one bought through Amazon, and was clearly maked on the bag an I-nique product. But whether it came from a common supplier to the first one I was sent I really can't tell, now I've sent the "Wireless Accessories" one back.

5.0 out of 5 stars Protection at very little cost.
As per title; a very nifty little thing, for a very nifty little thing! The cost of which, is very little against what the cost could be if damaged by, er, knocks.
