Unless you have very small and unruly children who are likely to throw video cameras around as they film, I would avoid this one. Its big idea is toughness of build and simple design, but features are rudimentary and video quality is very poor.The 64Mb memory is a joke.Maximum video resolution is 640X480 and not the more impressive figure quoted by the manufacturer and transfer is by USB 1! Think carefully before spending money on this.

It is called a tuffcam suggesting it is hard wearing but the build quality seems so low i doubt that it would stand up to more than a few drops and I certainly wouldnt feel safe giving it to a child who is likely to throw it, if it landed on a hard surface it would be game over I am sure. It is made of cheap, hollow plastic the screen is terrible quality and a 3mp camera is .... well useless... It wouldnt be so useless if the camera gave out good quality images or videos but my advice is not to bother. For £100 it really isnt worth it. A child qill easily bore of the dark, noisy, off colour images and video and the included software is truly abysmal.
