Marisa Peer was named Best British Therapist by Men's Health magazine and features in Tatler's Guide to Britain's 250 Best Doctors. She has spent 25 years working with an extensive client list including royalty, rock stars, actors, professional and Olympic athletes, CEOs and media personalities and has developed her own style that is frequently referred to as life-changing. Marisa is a best-selling author of four books and appears extensively as an expert on television and radio. She is the nutritionist for Men's Fitness magazine and the therapist in the Sunday People's Heart to Heart column, she also has her own weekly Mind column for Closer Magazine and is recognised worldwide as a leading infertility expert.
Marisa Peer studied hypnotherapy at the Hypnotism Training Institute of Los Angeles, known as the best hypnotherapy training establishment in the world. The author of four best-selling books Marisa Peer initially specialised in eating disorders and weight related problems. After university Marisa went into the fitness industry and became a fitness expert in London and Los Angeles. She also studied diet, nutrition and eating disorders. Marisa set up a practice in Los Angeles specialising in anorexia and bulimia before returning to London to build a practice in the UK. Her book You Can Be Thin was published in 2007 and has over 200 five star reviews on Amazon.
Marisa works extensively on television and radio and was voted the most successful therapist on Supersize vs. Superskinny and Celebrity Fit Club UK and USA. In May 2006, Marisa was named Best British Therapist by Men's Health magazine.
